OUR COMMITMENT

Buddy stemmed from a fascination in the ecological, functional and aesthetic benefits of hemp fibre as clothing - a fibre chosen for its strength, low water and pesticide needs, and its ability to soften and outlast rather than wear out. 

Our fabric is OCS and GOTS certified, produced by a single vertically-integrated manufacturer, powered predominantly by solar energy - everything from weaving to dyeing is handled in one place, to keep emissions from moving stock and fabric around the world to a minimum. 

We remain committed to exploring and championing alternate ideas around sustainability and textile innovation.
